Rivanazzano Terme (Lombard: ''La Riva''; known simply as ''Rivanazzano'' before 30 July 2009〔The name was officially changed by regional law 14.07.2009 no, 12, which followed a referendum held in Rivanazzano on 29 March 2009; the name of Rivanazzano Terme had already been used in the past. See (''Avviso'', Comune di Rivanazzano Terme ), and (this letter ) from the mayor of the commune.〕) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Pavia in the Italian region Lombardy. It is located in the Oltrepò Pavese on the Staffora torrent, about 60 km south of Milan, about 30 km southwest of Pavia and on the boundary with the Province of Alessandria.
